A corporate training on lean production has taken place
PJSC “Keramet” continues investment in staff development and continuous improvement of business processes.
On June 15-16, 2015 a corporate training on lean manufacturing has taken place in Dneprodzerzhinsk. During two days 17 employees of mechanical and electrical service, production department and management of production shops of the group of companies "Keramet" have been mastering the tools and techniques of lean manufacturing: TPM (universal service, independent service, full equipment effectiveness), 5S (system of organization and rationalization of workplaces).
The training program has been specially designed for the "Keramet" taking into account the specifics of its activities, wishes and needs of the company. As a pilot project for the practical part of the event was chosen the real production site - Dneprodzerzhynsk scrap workshop - scrap shears processing site.
One of the activities of the training was an expert evaluation of the implementation of 5S practices on Dneprodzerzhinsk production sites. The fact that PJSC "Keramet" is implementing techniques and philosophy of lean manufacturing since 2014. The results of this work have received a positive evaluation of experts.
The training was provided by KAIZEN club in Ukraine. Kaizen club is a public organization created in 2010 with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency - JICA. At the moment the club is actively disseminating the philosophy and practice KAIZEN among Ukrainian business representatives being the leader of information and consultancy services in this area.
Training is one of the stages of individual development plans for employees in 2015. In view of the results of the training participants will prepare proposals for the improvement of the assigned sites and processes, the most successful of them will be put into practice.
