Volodymyr Bubley was elected president of UAVtormet (Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals)
On November 18, 2016 at an extraordinary congress of the Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals Volodymyr Bubley was elected as President of the association.
V. Bubley has been working in JSC Keramet since 1995. He is Candidate of Economic Sciences (specialty "Economics and production management"). In 2009 he graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics in St. Petersburg on the program «I-EMBA Oil & Gas», got a degree of Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA). He owns commendations of the President of Ukraine for the significant contribution to the development of the Ukrainian state. He is a member of the 5th seminar "Responsible leadership" of the project "Aspen Ukraine" (2011), a member of the Alumni Association of Aspen-Ukraine. In 2015 he entered the list of the best 100 top-managers of Ukraine according to the magazine "Top 100", ahead of other representatives of scrap metal business. For many years he had been a member of the presidium of UAVtormet.
"Just as before, the Association’s efforts would be directed towards the elimination of existing problems in the industry, including those related to the administration and a lot of unnecessary bureaucratic procedures, as well as improving relations between scrap metal procurement companies and metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine.
In particular, the issues with the abolition of VAT on operations with scrap metal, the final abolition of personal income tax and the liberalization of primary scrap metal procurement market on the whole are still unsolved. We will continue to work towards that", - said Volodymyr Bubley.
Volodymyr Bubley has replaced Vasiliy Gureev, who led UAVtormet since May 2012.

Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals (UAVtormet) was founded in April 1999.
Taking into account subjects that members of the Association include, UAVtormet represents interests of more than 200 enterprises, the level of activity of which is approximately 75% of the turnover of ferrous scrap metal and ferrous metal waste in the country. The Association is actively involved in the initiation, preparation and review of draft laws and other legal acts aimed at the scrap metal entrepreneurial activity regulation.
UAVtormet directs its efforts to achieve the main goal - normalization of economic activities with scrap metal taking into account interests of the state and stakeholders of the Ukrainian scrap market: suppliers and consumers.
